Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Introduction

RIED Pvt. Ltd. ("RIED", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through ried.co.in (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

  • Contact/intake form: name, email address, organization/startup name, and your message.
  • Idea Quest assessment: your answers, resulting score, and badge/level, if you choose to take it.
  • Scheduling a call: name, email, and any details you provide via our Cal.com booking widget.
  • If you register an account (planned feature): email address and password.
  • If you purchase a service (planned feature): billing details processed by our payment partner, Razorpay — RIED does not store your full card details.

Information collected automatically

  • Basic technical data such as browser type, device type, and pages visited, via standard web server logs.
  • Chat messages you send through our Chatbase AI assistant widget.
  • Messages you send us via WhatsApp, subject to WhatsApp's own privacy practices.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact/intake form.
  • To schedule and manage consultation calls.
  • To operate interactive features like the Idea Quest assessment.
  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Site and (in future) our member and payment features.
  • To send you service-related communications — we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the Site. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

  • Web3Forms — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox by email.
  • Cal.com — powers our scheduling/booking widget.
  • Chatbase — powers our website AI chat assistant.
  • WhatsApp Business — used for direct messaging with visitors who choose to contact us that way.
  • Razorpay (planned) — will process payments for paid services; RIED will not directly handle or store full card numbers.
  • Firebase (planned) — will provide account registration/login and related data storage for future member features.

5. Cookies

The Site and the third-party tools embedded on it (such as Chatbase and Cal.com) may use cookies or similar technologies to remember your session and improve functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how some features (like live chat or the booking widget) work.

6. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain enquiry and account information for as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your Rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@ried.co.in. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in line with applicable Indian law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for founders, researchers, and business professionals and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
